Creative Hiatus

I think the big trick that society feeds us is that we are not enough, when the truth is that we have been enough all along. We shrink away from the dreams that we have, the ideas we think of, the paintings we want to paint, etc. and decide that a mundane existence is what we deserve.
I am choosing to take this time in my life to take control of the things that I'm chasing after and I'm engaging with them in a new way – a playful way. Living creatively is near and dear to my heart and it's something that I want to get a refresh on so I'm actively engaging with it. I am taking photos, exploring new neighborhoods, learning more about my inspirations etc.
This is my commitment to myself – to truly take a creative hiatus and engage in whatever delights the creative genius that I carry around with me. I'm going to challenge you to do the same.
Here's how I do it –
1) Seltzer water, I prefer San Pellegrino
2) Music that makes you feel alive, I suggest the 1975
3) Invite creativity to sit next to you, as if it were a physical entity
4) Trust yourself
